Booking a Service
Booking a service on Otesse takes just a few minutes. The process walks you through seven simple steps so we have everything we need to get you great service.
Step 1: Choose Your Location
Start by selecting where you need the service done. If you already have addresses saved on your account, pick one from the list. Otherwise, type in a new address and the system will save it for next time.
Your address determines which service zone you fall in. The zone affects which providers are available, what time slots you see, and pricing.
Step 2: Pick a Service
Choose what type of service you need. Otesse offers several categories, including:
- Residential cleaning
- Junk removal
- Carpet cleaning
- And more depending on your area
Each service type has its own set of options that you will configure in the next step.
Step 3: Configure Your Service
This is where you tell us exactly what you need.
For cleaning: Select rooms and areas, choose your cleaning level (standard, deep, move-in/move-out), and add extras like oven cleaning, laundry, or baseboard detailing.
For junk removal: Pick the items you need hauled away (furniture, appliances, yard waste, etc.), set quantities, and note any access challenges like stairs or narrow hallways.
For carpet cleaning: Choose how many rooms or sections, specify room types, and add treatments like pet stain removal or stain protector coating.
As you make your selections, the price calculator updates in real time so you always know what you are paying.
Step 4: Choose Your Schedule
Pick a date and time that works for you. The calendar shows available slots based on your zone and the estimated job duration. Slots are color-coded:
- Green — Wide open availability.
- Yellow — Limited spots remaining.
- Grey — Fully booked.
You can book up to 30 days in advance. Same-day availability depends on your area.
Step 5: Add Details
This step lets you add any special instructions the service team should know:
- Gate codes or building access information
- Pet information (where pets will be, any concerns)
- Parking instructions
- Areas to focus on or avoid
- Any other preferences
These notes go directly to the assigned crew before they arrive.
Step 6: Your Contact Information
Confirm your name, email, and phone number. If this is your first time, you will enter these here. For returning customers, your info is pre-filled from your account.
Step 7: Review and Pay
Review everything before you confirm:
- Service details and configuration
- Date and time
- Price breakdown (base price, extras, tax, any discounts)
- Your payment method
If you have a promo code, enter it here. Click Confirm Booking and you are done. You will receive a confirmation email right away with all the details.
One-Time vs Recurring
During the booking process, you can choose to make this a one-time visit or set it up as a recurring service (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). Recurring bookings come with a discount and your time slot is reserved automatically.
