Gift Cards
Otesse gift cards let you give the gift of a clean home, a clutter-free space, or any service we offer. Here is everything you need to know about buying, sending, and using gift cards.
Purchasing a Gift Card
- Go to the Gift Cards section on otesse.com or in your portal.
- Choose an amount. Gift cards are available in preset amounts ($25, $50, $75, $100, $150, $200) or you can enter a custom amount between $10 and $500.
- Select the delivery method:
- Email — The gift card is sent directly to the recipient's email address with a personal message from you.
- Print — Download a printable gift card you can give in person.
- Add an optional personal message.
- Complete your purchase with your saved payment method or enter new card details.
You will receive a purchase confirmation with the gift card code for your records.
Sending a Gift Card
When you choose email delivery, the recipient receives a beautifully formatted email with:
- Your personal message
- The gift card amount
- A unique redemption code
- Instructions on how to use it
You can schedule the delivery for a future date (birthdays, holidays, special occasions) or send it immediately.
Redeeming a Gift Card
To use a gift card:
- During the booking process, look for the Promo / Gift Card field on the review step.
- Enter the gift card code.
- The card's balance is applied to your booking total.
- If the booking costs more than the gift card balance, the remaining amount is charged to your payment method.
- If the booking costs less, the leftover balance stays on the gift card for future use.
Gift cards can also be redeemed in the portal under Billing > Gift Cards > Redeem.
Checking Your Balance
If you have a gift card and want to see how much is left:
- Go to Billing > Gift Cards in your portal.
- Enter the gift card code.
- Your remaining balance is displayed.
Alternatively, any active gift cards linked to your account appear automatically in the billing section with their current balances.
Good to Know
- Gift cards never expire.
- Gift cards are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- You can use multiple gift cards on a single booking.
- Gift cards work for all service types and both one-time and recurring bookings.
- If you lose your gift card code, contact support with your purchase receipt and we will look it up for you.
