Managing Your Partner Account

Your partner account lives inside the Otesse customer portal at portal.otesse.com. When you log in as an approved partner, you see additional navigation items specific to the affiliate program.

Affiliate Dashboard

The affiliate dashboard gives you a high-level view of your performance:

Total Referrals — How many people you have referred (all time)
Converted Referrals — How many referrals became paying customers
Conversion Rate — Percentage of referrals that converted
Total Earnings — Lifetime commissions earned
Pending Payout — Commissions approved but not yet paid out
Current Tier — Your tier badge with a progress bar showing how close you are to the next level

Below the summary cards, you will see a chart showing your referral activity over time and a table of your most recent referrals with their status.

Commission History

The Commissions tab shows every commission you have earned:

Column	Description
Date	When the commission was generated
Client	The referred client's name
Booking	The booking that triggered the commission
Booking Total	The total amount the client paid
Commission Rate	Your tier rate at the time
Commission Amount	Your earnings for this booking
Status	Pending, Approved, Paid, or Held

You can filter by date range, status, or client. Export your commission history as a CSV for your records.

Commission Statuses

Pending — The booking is complete but the commission is within the waiting period (typically 14 days)
Approved — The waiting period has passed and the commission is eligible for payout
Paid — The commission has been included in a payout
Held — The commission is under review (usually due to a dispute or fraud check)

Payouts

Payouts are processed on a regular schedule (typically monthly). When a payout is processed:

All approved commissions are bundled into a single payout
You receive an email notification with the payout amount
The funds are transferred to your payout method on file
Each commission included in the payout is marked as "Paid"

To set up your payout method, go to the Payouts section and add your bank account or payment details.

Minimum Payout Threshold

There is a minimum payout threshold (typically $25). If your approved commissions are below this amount, they carry over to the next payout cycle.

Tax Information

If you earn above the IRS reporting threshold ($600 in a calendar year), you need to provide tax documentation.

From the Tax Info section of your partner account:

Select your tax form type: W-9 (US individuals and businesses) or W-8BEN (non-US individuals)
Enter your legal name as it appears on your tax records
Select your tax ID type (SSN or EIN)
Enter the last 4 digits of your tax ID for verification
Upload a signed copy of the form
Submit for review

Your tax information is stored securely and is only used for required IRS reporting. If your credentials are not on file and you reach the reporting threshold, your payouts may be held until the information is provided.

Team Management (for Agencies)

If you operate as an agency or have a team of referrers, you can manage them from the Team section:

Add Team Members — Invite people to refer clients under your agency umbrella
Track Individual Performance — See each team member's referrals and conversions
Manage Permissions — Control what each team member can see and do
Split Commissions — Configure how commissions are split between the agency and individual referrers

Team members log in with their own credentials but their referrals roll up to your agency account. This makes it easy to manage a distributed team of referrers.

Branding Your Page

Customize your branded booking page from the Branding section:

Logo — Upload your business logo (displayed on your booking page)
Brand Colors — Choose primary and accent colors that match your brand
Welcome Message — Write a custom greeting that appears at the top of your page
Contact Info — Display your business contact information

Changes to your branding take effect immediately on your booking page.
