Your Account

Your account page is where you manage everything about yourself on the platform — from your name and photo to your security settings and certifications.

Profile Management

Your profile is what companies see when you claim a job. Keep it complete and up to date.

  • Name — Your full legal name. This is used on payouts and contracts.
  • Phone number — How companies can reach you for job-related questions.
  • Bio — A short description of your experience and skills. Optional, but it helps you stand out.
  • Photo — A profile picture. Not required, but it builds trust.

To edit your profile, go to Account > Profile and make your changes.

Security

Keeping your account secure is important. Here is what you can manage:

  • Password — Change your password anytime. Use something strong and unique.
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) — Add an extra layer of security. When MFA is enabled, you will need to enter a code from your phone every time you log in.

To manage security settings, go to Account > Security.

Your credentials are yours. Otesse does not share your login information with any company you work with, and companies cannot access or reset your password.

Certifications

If you hold any professional certifications — like a cleaning certification, OSHA training, or a specialized license — you can upload them to your profile.

Certifications can give companies more confidence when reviewing your profile. Some jobs may even require specific certifications.

To add certifications, go to Account > Certifications and upload your documents.

Travel Settings

Your travel settings tell the system how far you are willing to go for a job. This affects which jobs show up in your feed.

  • Maximum travel distance — Set the farthest you will travel from your home base.
  • Home base location — The address the system uses to calculate distance to job sites.

Jobs beyond your maximum distance will not appear in your Available Jobs. Adjust these settings anytime if you get a new car, move, or just feel like expanding your range.

To update travel settings, go to Account > Travel.

Getting Help

If you run into an issue or have a question, you have two options:

Support Tickets

Submit a ticket and the support team will get back to you. Go to Account > Tickets to create a new one. You can track the status of open tickets and see responses from the team.

Messages

You can also message companies directly if you have a question about a specific job. Open the job in My Jobs and use the message feature to reach out.
