Job Monitoring Dashboard

Organization administrators manage their Pandora job postings from the Operations section of the dashboard. This page covers how to monitor active postings, track worker claims, handle completions, and resolve issues.

Accessing Pandora Jobs

Navigate to Dashboard > Operations > Jobs. Jobs that have been posted to Pandora display a "Posted to Pandora" badge. Click on any Pandora job to view its full posting details.

Posting Status Overview

Each Pandora posting has a status that reflects its current state:

StatusMeaningWhat You Can Do

FilledAll slots claimed by workersMonitor, wait for completion
CompletedAll claims resolved (completed/no-show)View outcomes, rate workers
CancelledPosting withdrawn (no active claims)View history

Monitoring Claims

The job detail view shows a Claims section listing all workers who have claimed a slot:

FieldDescription
Worker nameWho claimed the slot
Tier levelWorker's tier at time of claim (e.g., "Tier 3 - Reliable")
Claimed atWhen the slot was claimed
Estimated payoutWhat the worker will earn (based on their tier percentage)
StatusClaimed, Confirmed, Completed, No-Show, Put Back

For multi-person jobs, you see all workers in a table with their individual statuses and estimated payouts.

The Completion Process

When a worker has finished the job:

  1. Open the job detail in your dashboard
  2. Click "Mark Complete" next to the worker's claim
  3. Review the payout summary showing the calculated amount
  4. Optionally rate the worker (1-5 stars with a note)
  5. Click "Confirm Completion"

The system then:

  • Records the completion outcome (on-time or late)
  • Queues the worker's payout for processing
  • Recalculates the worker's tier score
  • Logs the event in the audit trail

Rating Workers

Rating is optional but valuable. Your ratings contribute to the worker's satisfaction score, which influences their tier. When rating:

  • 5 stars — Exceptional work, exceeded expectations
  • 4 stars — Good work, met all requirements
  • 3 stars — Acceptable work, some areas for improvement
  • 2 stars — Below expectations, issues noted
  • 1 star — Poor work, significant problems

You can also add a written note with additional context. Workers see their average rating but not individual ratings or notes.

Handling No-Shows

If a worker does not show up:

  1. After the scheduled start time has passed, the system flags uncompleted claims
  2. You can mark the worker as a no-show from the job detail view
  3. The system records the no-show outcome, severely penalizes the worker's score, and resets their streak
  4. The no-show worker receives $0 payout

For multi-person jobs, a no-show does not reduce the payout pool. The remaining workers split the full Pandora value among themselves.

Handling Put-Backs

When a worker puts back a claimed job:

  • You receive a notification: "[Worker name] put back your job: [title]"
  • For multi-person jobs, the notification includes: "[X] of [Y] spots now filled"
  • The slot reopens for other workers to claim
  • No action is required from you — the system handles the re-listing automatically

Cancelling a Posting

You can cancel a Pandora posting if no workers have claimed it:

  1. Open the job detail
  2. Click "Cancel Pandora Posting"
  3. Confirm the cancellation

The job disappears from all workers' Available Jobs lists immediately. The underlying operational job is not affected — only the Pandora posting is cancelled.

If workers have claimed slots, you cannot cancel the posting. You must wait for all claims to be resolved (completion, put-back, or no-show) before the posting can be cancelled.

Editing a Posting

After posting, you can edit limited fields:

  • Pandora value — Can be increased (never decreased if claims exist)
  • Minimum tier — Can be adjusted if no claims exist
  • Supply requirements — Can be updated
  • Total slots — Can be increased (never decreased below current claims)

Changes to the Pandora value or slots take effect immediately for future claims. Existing claims retain their original payout calculations.

Financial Overview

The job detail shows a financial summary:

MetricDescription
Job ValueWhat your client pays for this job
Pandora ValueThe payout pool you set
Your SpreadJob Value minus Pandora Value (your guaranteed margin)
Average PayoutBlended average across all claimed workers
Total PayoutSum of all worker payouts
Your MarginJob Value minus Total Payout
Tier SavingsPandora Value minus Total Payout (savings from workers below 100%)

Internal-First Escalation

If you posted a job with "Internal First" visibility:

  • The job starts visible only to your linked workers
  • A timer runs based on your escalation configuration (default 4-24 hours depending on urgency)
  • If no internal worker claims the job before the timer expires, it automatically escalates to external visibility
  • You receive a notification: "Your job has been escalated to the Pandora marketplace"
  • You can monitor the escalation status and manually revert to internal-only if needed

Analytics

The Pandora section of your dashboard provides aggregate analytics:

  • Total jobs posted to Pandora
  • Average time to claim (how quickly workers pick up your jobs)
  • Average payout per job
  • Worker tier distribution (what tier workers are claiming your jobs)
  • Completion rate (percentage of claims that result in completion vs no-show/put-back)
  • Total payouts issued
