This Privacy Policy describes how Otesse LLC ("Otesse," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you access or use our website at otesse.com, our field service management platform, mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").   • Account Information — First and last name, email address, phone number, and password (stored in hashed form).
  • Billing and Payment Information — Credit or debit card number, expiration date, billing address, and CVC. All payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Otesse does not store your full card number, CVC, or expiration date on our servers.
  • Service Address Information — Physical addresses where you request services to be performed, including street address, city, state, ZIP code, and any access instructions (gate codes, parking details).
  • Communications — Messages, feedback, reviews, support requests, and any other content you send to us or post through the Services.
  • Profile Information — Profile photo (optional), notification preferences, and account settings.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information:

  • Device Information — Device type, operating system, browser type and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Log Data — IP address, access times, pages viewed, links clicked, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
  • Usage Data — Features used, actions taken, booking history, search queries, and interaction patterns within the platform.

  • Field Service Professionals — When you book a service, we share your service address, booking details, and any special instructions with the assigned service provider so they can perform the requested service. We do not share your payment information with service providers.
  • Legal Requirements — We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, or government requests.
  • Business Transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. Specifically:

  • Communications and support tickets are retained for 3 years after the last interaction.
  • Log and usage data is retained for 12 months and then aggregated or deleted.

After the applicable retention period, we securely delete or anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you.
