Messages
The Messages section lets you communicate directly with your service provider and support team without leaving the portal.
Accessing Messages
Click Messages in the sidebar to open the messaging interface. You will see a list of your conversations on the left and the active conversation on the right.
Your Conversations
Each conversation shows:
- Name — The person or group you are communicating with.
- Last message preview — A snippet of the most recent message.
- Timestamp — When the last message was sent.
- Unread indicator — A visual marker if there are messages you have not read yet.
Click any conversation to open it and see the full message history.
Sending a Message
- Open a conversation or start a new one by clicking the + button.
- Type your message in the text field at the bottom.
- Click the Send button or press Enter.
Your message is delivered in real time. You will see it appear in the conversation immediately.
Starting a New Conversation
Click the + button at the top of the conversation list. You can start a conversation with your service provider's support team. Type your first message and send it to begin.
Message Notifications
When you receive a new message, you will be notified through:
- In-app notification — The bell icon updates with the unread count.
- Email or SMS — Depending on your notification preferences in Settings.
Tips
- Use messages for questions about upcoming services, scheduling changes, or general inquiries.
- For urgent issues or formal complaints, consider opening a Support Ticket instead — tickets are tracked and have response time expectations.
