Notifications

The portal keeps you informed about important events through an in-app notification system, plus email and SMS alerts based on your preferences.

The Notification Bell

In the sidebar, you will see a bell icon. When you have unread notifications, a badge shows the count. Click the bell to open the notification panel.

Notification Types

You will receive notifications for events like:

  • Booking confirmations — When a new service is booked or confirmed.
  • Appointment reminders — 24 hours before and on the day of your service.
  • Invoice issued — When a new invoice is generated for you.
  • Payment received — Confirmation that your payment was processed.
  • Messages — When you receive a new message from your service provider.
  • Ticket updates — When there is a response to a support ticket you submitted.
  • Subscription changes — Renewal reminders, plan changes, or cancellations.

Managing Notifications

  • Mark as read — Click a notification to mark it as read.
  • Mark all as read — Use the option at the top of the panel to clear all unread badges at once.
  • Notification preferences — Go to Settings > Notifications to control which types of notifications you receive via email, SMS, or in-app.

Email and SMS Notifications

In addition to in-app notifications, you can opt into email and SMS alerts. These are configured per category — for example, you might want email alerts for invoices but only in-app alerts for messages. Visit your notification settings to customize this.
