Branding & Customization
Otesse allows you to customize the look and feel of customer-facing surfaces so they match your brand identity.
Portal Branding
The customer portal can be customized with:
Logo
Upload your company logo in PNG or SVG format. It appears in:
- Portal header
- Login page
- Email templates (header block)
- Invoice headers
- Booking confirmation pages
Colors
Set your brand colors to customize the portal appearance:
- Primary color — Used for buttons, links, and active states
- Secondary color — Used for accents and secondary actions
- Background color — Portal background (defaults to white)
- Text color — Primary text color (defaults to near-black)
Color changes are applied in real-time and affect all portal pages.
Favicon
Upload a favicon (32x32 PNG) that appears in browser tabs when customers visit your portal.
Email Branding
Email templates are managed in the Content Builders module, but global branding settings include:
- From name — The name that appears in the "From" field (e.g., "Otesse Team" or your company name)
- From email — The reply-to email address
- Email footer — Default footer text for all emails (company address, unsubscribe links)
- Social links — Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn URLs displayed in email footers
Invoice Customization
Customize how your invoices look:
- Logo placement — Top-left, top-center, or top-right
- Color accent — Header bar and accent color on the invoice PDF
- Footer text — Custom text at the bottom of every invoice (thank you message, payment instructions, legal disclaimers)
- Terms and conditions — Displayed on the invoice and linked in the customer portal
Custom Domain
For Enterprise plans, you can serve the customer portal from your own domain:
- Portal URL — e.g., portal.yourcompany.com instead of yourcompany.otesse.com
- DNS configuration — CNAME record pointing to Otesse servers
- SSL certificate — Automatically provisioned via Let's Encrypt
