Creating Your Account

Getting started with Otesse takes less than two minutes. Here is how to create your account and start booking services.

Step 1: Visit the Sign-Up Page

Navigate to the Otesse sign-up page. You can get there from the main website by clicking Get Started or Sign Up.

Step 2: Enter Your Information

Fill in the registration form with:

  • First name and Last name — Used to address you in communications and on invoices.
  • Email address — This becomes your login credential. Make sure it is an email you check regularly, as we send booking confirmations and invoices here.
  • Password — Must be at least 8 characters. We recommend using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Phone number — Optional but recommended. Enables SMS notifications for appointment reminders and technician arrival alerts.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

After submitting the form, you will receive a verification email with a 6-digit code. Enter this code on the verification screen to activate your account. The code expires after 15 minutes.

If you do not see the email:

  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Click Resend Code to get a new verification email

Step 4: Complete Your Profile

Once verified, you will be prompted to:

  1. Add a service address — Enter the primary location where you need services. You can add more addresses later from your account settings.
  2. Add a payment method — Securely save a credit or debit card for faster checkout. Payment information is stored by Stripe and never touches our servers.

Account Security

Your account is protected by:

  • Email verification — Confirms you own the email address
  • Encrypted passwords — Stored using industry-standard bcrypt hashing
  • Session management — Automatic logout after extended inactivity
  • Multi-factor authentication — Available in your security settings for an extra layer of protection

You can manage all security settings from the Security section of your account page at any time.
