How to Book a Service
Booking a service through Otesse follows a guided step-by-step flow that ensures we have all the information needed to deliver great service. Here is how it works.
Step 1: Select Your Location
Choose the service address where the work will be performed. If you have multiple addresses saved, select the correct one from the dropdown. You can also add a new address directly from the booking flow.
The system uses your address to determine which service zone you fall in, which affects:
- Available service providers
- Pricing
- Available time slots
Step 2: Choose a Service Industry
Select the type of service you need:
- Residential Cleaning — Recurring or one-time house cleaning
- Junk Removal — Furniture, appliance, and debris hauling
- Carpet Cleaning — Professional carpet, rug, and upholstery cleaning
Each industry has its own configuration options tailored to that service type.
Step 3: Configure Your Service
This step varies by industry:
For Cleaning: Select your cleaning frequency (one-time, bi-weekly, monthly), choose rooms and areas, add extras like inside-oven cleaning or laundry.
For Junk Removal: Browse categories (mattress, couch, appliance, etc.), select items and quantities, add extras like stair carry fees or disassembly.
For Carpet Cleaning: Choose the number of sections, specify room types, add specialty services like pet stain treatment or stain protector.
Step 4: Pick a Date and Time
The calendar shows available slots based on:
- Your service zone's coverage schedule
- Provider availability
- Estimated job duration
Select a date, then choose from available time windows. Morning, afternoon, and evening slots are shown when available.
Step 5: Review and Confirm
Review your complete booking summary:
- Service details and configuration
- Selected date and time
- Price breakdown (base price, extras, taxes, discounts)
- Payment method
Click Confirm Booking to finalize. You will receive an email confirmation immediately with all the details.
