Understanding Your Invoice
Every completed service generates an invoice. Here is how to read and understand each part.
Invoice Overview
Each invoice contains:
- Invoice number — A unique identifier (e.g., INV-2026-00142)
- Date issued — When the invoice was generated (typically upon service completion)
- Due date — When payment is expected (usually immediate for saved payment methods)
- Status — Paid, Pending, Overdue, or Void
Line Items
The main body of the invoice lists each charge:
| Line Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Base service | The core service charge based on your booking configuration |
| Extras | Any add-ons selected during booking (listed individually with prices) |
| Adjustments | Any price modifications applied by the service provider (e.g., additional work) |
| Subtotal | Sum of all line items before tax and discounts |
| Discount | Promo codes, subscription discounts, or loyalty credits applied |
| Tax | Applicable sales tax based on your service location |
| Total | Final amount due |
Discounts and Promotions
If you applied a promo code during booking, the discount appears as a separate line item showing:
- The promo code used
- Discount type (percentage or fixed amount)
- Amount saved
Subscription discounts are applied automatically and shown as a percentage off the one-time rate.
Payment Information
The bottom of the invoice shows:
- Payment method — The card used (last 4 digits and brand)
- Payment date — When the charge was processed
- Transaction ID — Stripe transaction reference for your records
