Security
The Security tab on your Profile page gives you control over your account's security settings.
Changing Your Password
- Go to Profile and select the Security tab.
- Enter your current password for verification.
- Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters).
- Confirm the new password.
- Click Update Password.
Your new password takes effect immediately. You will remain signed in on your current device.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring a code from your phone in addition to your password.
Enabling 2FA
- In the Security tab, find the Two-Factor Authentication section.
- Click Enable 2FA.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.).
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm setup.
Using 2FA
After enabling, each time you log in you will be asked for your password and then a code from your authenticator app.
Disabling 2FA
If you need to turn off 2FA, go to the Security tab and click Disable 2FA. You will need to enter a current code from your authenticator app to confirm.
Active Sessions
The Security tab shows a list of your currently active sessions — devices and browsers where you are logged in. For each session, you can see:
- Device type and browser
- Last active timestamp
- IP address
If you see a session you do not recognize, click Revoke to end it immediately. This signs out that device.
Security Best Practices
- Use a strong, unique password that you do not reuse across other sites.
- Enable 2FA for maximum account protection.
- Review your active sessions periodically and revoke any you do not recognize.
